Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Residential Construction Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and completion of residential building projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards. Responsibilities Coordinate and manage all aspects of residential construction projects from initial planning through final inspection, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets. Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resource allocation, and cost estimates using construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, or Prolog. Oversee procurement processes, including bidding, contract negotiations, and managing subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications. Monitor construction site activities daily to ensure safety protocols are followed, regulatory compliance is maintained, and work progresses according to plans. Lead project teams by managing subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, and internal staff to foster collaboration and accountability. Review construction plans and blueprints thoroughly; interpret technical drawings for accurate implementation on-site. Track project progress through scheduling tools like Construction scheduling software; adjust timelines proactively to address delays or unforeseen challenges. Manage project budgets meticulously by controlling costs, reviewing change orders, and ensuring financial objectives are met without compromising quality. Ensure all construction documentation is complete and accurate; maintain records of contracts, change orders, inspections, permits, and correspondence. Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status and address any concerns promptly. Experience Proven experience managing complex residential construction projects or large-scale housing developments with a strong focus on project management principles. Extensive knowledge of construction regulations, safety standards, building codes, and permitting processes relevant to residential construction. Demonstrated expertise in using project management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6 (Primavera), Prolog (Primavera P6), Civil 3D for civil design coordination, HeavyBid for cost estimation, and Microsoft Office suite for documentation. Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting construction plans accurately to guide onsite activities effectively. Strong background in managing teams within a construction management role; capable of leading diverse groups towards shared project goals. Experience in construction estimating and cost management to ensure projects stay within financial parameters while maintaining quality standards. Familiarity with managing commercial or residential infrastructure projects with an emphasis on regulatory compliance and safety protocols. Excellent time management skills combined with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in fast-paced environments.
