Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Solar Construction Admin to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will serve as the backbone of our solar construction projects, ensuring smooth coordination between field teams, project managers, and stakeholders. Your expertise in construction administration, project scheduling, and document management will drive project efficiency and success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to renewable energy initiatives while honing your skills in construction management and project coordination. Responsibilities Manage and maintain all construction documentation, including plans, contracts, change orders, and progress reports using construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and Civil engineering project management tools. Coordinate project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 or scheduling software to ensure timely completion of all phases of solar installation projects. Support cost management efforts by tracking budgets, analyzing Excel data, and assisting with construction estimating to optimize resource allocation. Facilitate communication between field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and project managers to ensure clarity on project scope, timelines, and deliverables. Assist in reviewing construction plans and specifications to verify compliance with design standards and safety regulations. Monitor project progress on-site through regular updates and documentation; support construction site experience by maintaining safety protocols and quality standards. Prepare reports on project status, schedule updates, and cost analysis to aid in decision-making and project management reviews. Requirements Proven experience with construction site operations and familiarity with civil engineering project management software such as Primavera P6 or similar tools. Strong proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Demonstrated ability in construction estimating, project scheduling, and cost management within the renewable energy or general construction industry. Experience working with construction plans, contracts, change orders, and project documentation. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret data for project planning and execution. Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of construction industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance practices. Construction experience on-site or in a related role is highly preferred; familiarity with civil engineering projects is a plus.
