Job Description
Overview As an Electrical E ngineering Intern for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), in our Pittsburgh, PA office, you will be given the opportunity to perform engineering tasks that will help develop your engineering skillset while supporting our project teams on a variety of industrial and manufacturing facility projects. During your internship with CEC, you will be developing 3D design models as well as performing various tasks such as discipline calculations, specifications, sketches, and drawings. You will also have the opportunity to work and coordinate with various disciplines including Electrical, Architectural, Civil, and Geotechnical. Through the CEC Internship Program, you will: Acquire practical experience applying knowledge from college courses, learn from industry experts, and collaborate with multi-discipline teams across functional groups and locations Develop a robust professional network through social events and interactive activities Collaborate closely with a mentor in your discipline to tackle real-world challenges Participate in workshops to help foster interpersonal skills within the workplace and prepare students for success in their full-time careers Qualifications Current enrollment in an electrical engieering undergraduate program AutoCAD and Revit experience preferred Prior internship and/or related experience preferred Local candidates preferred Applicants must be legally authorized to work for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc.
