The Opportunity This is a full-time Project Manager role covering ground-up construction and interior renovation/tenant improvement projects for both municipal/public agency and private commercial clients — the mix will shift project by project. What You'll Do Manage all phases of commercial construction projects — both ground-up builds and interior renovation/tenant improvement work — from pre-construction through final closeout Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, require adapting communication style and follow up skills Coordinate closely with ownership and stakeholders Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor bid packages Coordinate with architects, engineers, inspectors, and officials or ownership throughout construction Track and manage change orders, RFIs, and submittals Lead regular site visits and progress meetings; create agendas & meeting minute Report project status to ownership and client Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, local building codes, and applicable contract requirements Manage project closeout, including punch lists, as-builts, and final sign-off Support the sales, marketing, and proposal team as needed — especially during busy growth periods — lending project expertise to proposals, interviews, or client pursuits Pitch in on other duties as needed; we're a lean team and everyone contributes beyond their core role when it counts What We're Looking For 5+ years as a Project Manager in commercial construction, with experience managing both ground-up construction and interior renovation/tenant improvement projects.
