Martin Electric is an 85+ year electrical contractor building its next generation. We take on complex, fast-moving commercial and industrial projects where execution matters. Our clients count on us to say, "Don't worry. We've got it." and then deliver. Position Overview | The Seat Your job is to bridge the gap between the field, the office and the finish line. Every project has a lot happening at once - people in the field, plans changing, materials moving, decisions being made, and deadlines approaching. You are the gatekeeper that keeps it all connected. You'll keep a clear view of the project's moving parts and make sure information doesn't get lost between the office, the field, and the client. You'll help keep scope, schedule, budget, and documentation accurate and organized, while staying ahead of what the team will need next. You clear the roadblocks ahead so the field and team has open lanes to execute. THIS SEAT IS NOT A RIGHT FIT IF
… You prefer to roll in at 8:00am and see what the day brings. Your organizational system is best described as "I know it's here somewhere" or you're hoping an unanswered RFI magically resolves itself. You'd rather be in the field building than in the office planning what happens next; working from home is your ideal set up; speaking up in a room makes you want to disappear, or you'd rather work solo than part of a team. If you need someone to hand you a to-do list every morning this is probably not your seat.
