Job Description

Step into a critical Construction Coordinator role supporting large-scale fiber build and Metro E projects. In this position, you'll manage the full job lifecycle, coordinate between internal teams, and ensure all milestones are met on time and within process guidelines. This opportunity is ideal for detail-oriented professionals who have hands-on fiber experience, thrive in fast-paced environments, and enjoy managing multiple moving parts across a project's timeline.
Location:
Remote - must be based in the Northeast Required Skills & Experience 3+ years' experience in construction coordination, project coordination, or fiber/telecom environments Demonstrated experience with fiber builds, Metro E platforms, and understanding technical aspects such as splicing, lambdas, headend info, and multi-fiber solutions Familiarity with project management or workflow tools such as Polaris, Smartsheet, JT, P2, Sentry, or Orion Data analysis and reporting capabilities; ability to interpret project workflow and milestone data Strong communication skills; able to coordinate across various business, field, and technical teams Experience working in or understanding the Northeast U.S. region is preferred Desired Skills & Experience Background in data analysis or as a project coordinator within telecom, construction, or utilities Experience with ticketing/database/project tools (Polaris, P2, Smartsheet) Process improvement and quality control management exposure What You Will Be Doing Tech Breakdown 40% Job Creation, Milestone Management & Administrative Tasks (Polaris, JT, Smartsheet, etc.) 30% Stakeholder Liaison & Resource Management (reporting, funding requests, material & contract management) 20% Quality Control Oversight (validating field/admin QC steps, running reports, ensuring compliance) 10% Data Analysis & Process Coordination (entering/monitoring pre-sale orders, survey assignment, closing jobs) Daily Responsibilities Create and manage construction jobs and milestones, updating project status from start to close-out Liaise between internal teams (project management, field specialists, and sales) to align priorities and workflows Enter and track orders for fiber and coax projects, assign tasks, manage deadlines, and monitor survey completion Handle resource management—funding requests, material allocation, contract research, and job estimates Administer quality control: follow checklists, validate documentation, close permits, set invoice milestones, and finalize project closure Analyze project data, provide feedback, and support the adherence to SLAs and process improvements
