Manage and oversee construction teams on-site, fostering collaboration and maintaining high safety standards across all activities. Review and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of design intent. Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth project progress and compliance with all construction regulations. Utilize construction estimating tools like HeavyBid to prepare accurate cost estimates and manage project budgets effectively. Monitor project progress through regular site inspections, progress reports, and schedule updates; adjust plans as needed to meet project milestones. Ensure all construction activities comply with local codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations. Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes to optimize project resources and minimize delays. Maintain comprehensive documentation including daily logs, incident reports, inspection records, and project correspondence for transparency and accountability. Experience Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure or commercial construction projects from start to finish. Extensive knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools. Strong background in construction scheduling, cost management, project coordination, and regulatory compliance. Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams effectively in a fast-paced construction environment while maintaining high safety standards. Familiarity with blueprint reading, contract administration, project leadership principles, and managing complex construction schedules. Hands-on experience with civil engineering projects or heavy civil infrastructure is highly desirable. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines. Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental policies impacting construction operations.
