Position Summary:
As an Dental Assistant , you will assist dentists with clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional patient care. This role is perfect for someone detail-oriented, communicative, and eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist dentists during procedures by providing instruments and materials. Prepare patients for treatments and take dental X-rays. Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe environment. Take impressions, assist with scanning, and update patient records. Instruct patients on oral hygiene and post-procedure care. Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control protocols.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Dental assisting program diploma/certificate (preferred but not required). State-required certifications (e.g., radiology) and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong organizational and communication skills. Basic computer skills; dental software knowledge is a plus.
