Position Summary Seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Superintendent to oversee commercial electrical construction projects from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing field operations, directing electrical crews, coordinating with project management and other trades, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. We are a well-established electrical and mechanical contractor with a strong reputation throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland. Our projects are predominantly large, multi-year commercial projects (schools, universities, hospitals, prisons, etc.). This is an opportunity to join a great team! Required Qualifications Current OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Card required Minimum of 5 years of electrical supervisory experience on commercial construction projects Proven experience directing and managing electrical field personnel Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, construction methods, and industry standards Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project schedules Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Key Responsibilities Direct and supervise field electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors Plan daily and weekly work activities to maintain project schedules Order tools and material through internal teams Review shop drawings and submittals Write RFI's Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, inspectors, and other trades Conduct job site safety meetings and enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements Monitor jobsite safety, productivity, manpower requirements, and material utilization Ensure all work is installed in accordance with plans, specifications, codes, and company standards Identify and resolve field conflicts and construction issues Review and report project progress on a regular basis Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assist with workforce planning, employee development, and performance management Preferred Qualifications Journeyman or Master Electrician license Experience managing multiple commercial projects simultaneously Strong knowledge of NEC requirements and commercial electrical installations Experience with scheduling and project management software Proficient computer skills.
