Founded and led by Jon, we are building a company culture centered on military veterans and reservists.
Ideal candidates include military veterans and reservists who bring discipline, leadership, mission focus, and a results-oriented mindset. What You'll Be Doing Own the complete sales cycle: prospecting, lead generation, discovery meetings, proposal development, negotiation, and contract close Drive territory growth by identifying and securing new commercial, government, and high-end residential maintenance clients Build a robust pipeline through networking, cold outreach, referrals, strategic prospecting, and community involvement Develop lasting relationships with key decision-makers Present customized service solutions that deliver long-term value Partner closely with operations teams to ensure seamless handoffs and an exceptional client experience Maintain accurate pipeline activity and sales forecasting in our CRM What We're Looking For Proven success in B2B outside sales or business development (commercial services, grounds management, or related industries preferred) Demonstrated ability to identify prospects and convert them into long-term clients Consultative, results-driven sales approach Working knowledge of CRM systems and pipeline management Flexibility to travel throughout the greater Orlando area and surrounding communities listed above Military veterans and current reservists are highly encouraged to apply—your leadership, discipline, and mission-first mindset are a strong cultural fit Skills & Traits That Will Help You Succeed Strategic, consultative selling with a customer-focused, high-energy approach Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Ability to diagnose client needs and recommend effective solutions Proven relationship-building with commercial and government decision-makers Exceptional organization, time management, and prioritization Self-starter mentality with a drive to dominate the market If you're a motivated sales professional—especially a military veteran or reservist—who wants to help Lightning Lawn Care become the dominant name in Central Florida grounds management while working in a veteran-friendly culture, we want to hear from you.
