PRODUCTION MANAGER - RESIDENTIAL REMODELING

Maka Homes, Inc. Orland Park, Illinois | Full-Time Maka Homes is seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead residential remodeling projects from the production handoff through construction, final walkthrough, punch-list completion, and project closeout. The ideal candidate is an organized, proactive leader who understands residential construction, communicates professionally, and takes ownership of project schedules, quality, documentation, and the customer experience. Key Responsibilities Manage multiple residential remodeling projects from production handoff through completion Create and maintain accurate construction schedules Coordinate field employees, trade partners, vendors, materials, and deliveries Confirm that plans, selections, materials, permits, and site conditions are ready before work begins Conduct regular jobsite inspections for progress, quality, cleanliness, and safety Maintain accurate schedules, daily logs, photographs, and client updates in Buildertrend Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, material issues, missing information, and other project risks Manage purchase orders, trade commitments, change orders, and production-related costs Ensure change orders are documented and approved before additional work begins Lead final walkthroughs, punch lists, project closeout, and warranty support Communicate proactively with clients, employees, trade partners, vendors, and company leadership Hold field employees and trade partners accountable for quality, scheduling, and professional conduct Participate in production meetings, safety meetings, and continuous process improvement Qualifications Residential remodeling or residential construction-management experience Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, materials, and trade coordination Ability to read and interpret plans, scopes of work, specifications, selections, estimates, change orders, and purchase orders Strong scheduling, organizational, documentation, and follow-through skills Excellent client, employee, vendor, and trade-partner communication Sound judgment and the ability to make timely field decisions Ability to visit active jobsites and perform regular inspections Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Construction Management degree preferred Buildertrend or comparable construction-management software experience preferred About Maka Homes Maka Homes is a turnkey residential remodeling company specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and other interior renovations.
