Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team for a high-end residential construction project. This is a jobsite-based position , working primarily from the project's onsite construction trailer while also regularly working in the field alongside the Project Manager, Superintendent, subcontractors, designers, architects, engineers, and vendors. This is not strictly an office position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling the administrative side of construction while also walking the project, attending onsite meetings, coordinating trades, communicating with the design team, and helping drive the project through completion. Responsibilities Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with day-to-day project coordination Maintain and update the construction schedule and track upcoming milestones Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, designers, architects, engineers, and other project consultants Participate in onsite meetings and assist with documenting and following up on action items Assist with estimating, budgeting, bid solicitation, bid comparisons, and subcontractor buyout Manage procurement and track long-lead materials, equipment, finishes, and owner selections Prepare and track subcontract agreements, purchase orders, proposals, and change orders Maintain project documentation, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project correspondence Review plans and specifications and help identify coordination issues Communicate with subcontractors regarding scheduling, scope, pricing, and project requirements Track material deliveries and coordinate with the field team to ensure materials are available when needed Work closely with designers and the ownership team regarding selections, finishes, and design-related items Assist with permitting, inspections, and closeout documentation as needed Walk the jobsite regularly to understand project progress and help resolve outstanding coordination items Maintain organized project files and ensure information is communicated to the appropriate team members Help identify potential schedule or procurement issues before they impact the project Assist with punch lists, project closeout, warranties, and turnover documentation Qualifications Previous construction experience is
REQUIRED
, preferably in residential or high-end/luxury residential construction Experience with construction scheduling, estimating, subcontractor coordination, and procurement Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications Strong understanding of the construction process and sequencing of trades Excellent organizational and follow-up skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Comfortable communicating directly with subcontractors, vendors, designers, consultants, and ownership Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment Comfortable working both inside an onsite construction trailer and out in the field Proficient with Microsoft Office; experience with construction/project management software is preferred Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to identify issues that need attention without waiting to be asked What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is organized, construction-minded, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of their responsibilities . This person will be an important part of the onsite project team and will help keep communication, scheduling, procurement, documentation, and subcontractor coordination moving throughout the project. The right candidate should be equally comfortable working on a schedule or subcontractor proposal in the trailer and then putting on a hard hat to walk the project with a designer or subcontractor.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
