This role is not intended to consist of only administrative duties. Therefore, actual construction experience and knowledge is appreciated. The following is a summary of the roles and responsibilities of our Construction Project Manager. The Construction Project Manager should expect spending a significant amount of time using Microsoft Office, the internet, and Xactimate snd Specialty construction management platform.
Job Details:
Subcontractor Relations Identify and contact new subcontractors to build database and subcontractor network Follow-up with subcontractors on bids and questions Request the additional information from subcontractors and vendors as needed to be set up in Xactimate. Distribute notices, correspondences, schedules, and other communications Construction Operations Procure materials/supplies and coordinate delivery logistics Print-off various Specialty reports for Project Managers and Site Superintendents Site Superintendent project assignment scheduling/planning Prepare weekly progress reports with corresponding photos Project Closeout Obtain warranties, operation and maintenance manuals, redlined drawings, owner required documentation Organize and prepare closeout binder/digital media Punch list photo organization and documentation layout Additional responsibilities may include: Attend weekly project update meeting with Executive Management and project team. Assist in procuring general requirements, test results, and temp utility services. Work with Executive Management to train Superintendents and improve/streamline processes.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED, College degree (preferred) At least two years of professional office experience Proactive approach and very organized Ability to demonstrate high attention to detail Self-disciplined to complete daily, weekly and monthly tasks Collaborative approach Highly motivated and good work ethic Confident with asking questions and communicating with individuals at all levels of the project team Must be tech savvy (iPad/iPhone, MS Office, scanning to PDF, Adobe Acrobat)
