                I get along with others and treat them the way they want to be treated. Position Summary The Scheduling Manager owns the 24/7 scheduling team and its results. Schedulers make sure every shift is filled; you make sure the 2-week advance schedule is complete for every site and hold Schedulers accountable to the standard. You give executives a clear daily picture of coverage, overtime and billable hours through the scheduling system. Essential Duties
                • Lead the Scheduling team (day, swing and overnight seats): hiring input, training, shift coverage, coaching and performance reviews.
                • Verify that every post at every site is scheduled a minimum of 2 weeks out in the scheduling system, against the approved master schedule and budgeted positions.
                • Enforce the Call-Off procedure on every fill and audit fills to confirm the lowest-cost qualified option was used.
                • Approve exceptions, including doubles and any shift left open after the Call-Off order is exhausted.
                • Serve as an after hours escalation point for the scheduling team.
                • Report daily to the Manager of Strategic Operations using system reports: open positions, officers under 40 hours, and OT.
                • Review daily and weekly metrics; act on trends in OT, time-to-fill and fill priority.
                • Coordinate with site supervisors, account managers, Recruiting and HR to ensure first day scheduling for new hires Measured On 2-week schedule completion (target 100% of posts), OT hours as % of total (trending down), call off fills. Qualifications
                • 4+ years in scheduling, dispatch or workforce management, including 2+ years supervising a team.
                • Experience in contract security, staffing or another 24/7 multi-site operation strongly preferred.
                • Advanced computer skills, including scheduling and reporting; strong Excel.
                • Working understanding of overtime cost, billable hours and contract coverage requirements.
                • Proven ability to set standards, hold people accountable and communicate clearly with executives and the field.
                • Experience leading a remote or distributed team, managing performance through systems, reports and regular virtual check-ins.
                Schedule & Expectations Work location. This position is open to remote candidates, or on-site at FAPS corporate in Nashville. Remote managers work from a private, secure workspace with reliable high-speed internet, are reachable throughout the business day serve as primary escalation point for the scheduling team and may travel occasionally to Nashville corporate or client sites. Schedule. Primarily weekday business hours, with after-hours escalations, and flexibility to cover nights, weekends and holidays as the desk requires. Core 7.
