Telecommute job type: Permanent salary: $175,000 - 225,000 per year work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Provide desktop and onsite construction monitoring and client advisory oversight across South Carolina thermal projects.

Review contractor work plans, resource utilization, field reports, commissioning plans, and overall construction quality for compliance.

Monitor project budgets, evaluate change orders, verify milestone progress, and prepare Independent Engineer progress reports and certifications.

Witness performance testing, validate data collection and calculation methodologies, and confirm contractual performance guarantees are met prior to commercial operation.

Oversee site activities to verify permitting, engineering, procurement, construction, interconnection, and testing against schedule requirements.

qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering with 15+ years of relevant experience (prior consulting experience preferred). Deep technical expertise in coal-to-gas plant conversions, environmental permitting, and regulatory processes including PUC filings, FERC, and NRC requirements.
