Long-Term ContractOverviewOur client is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale tenant improvement, renovation, and capital construction projects across a diverse enterprise portfolio. This role is responsible for overseeing projects from initial planning through completion, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with quality, safety, and design standards.
This position requires residency in New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania and the ability to travel throughout the United States as needed.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full lifecycle of major construction and renovation projects, from planning and budgeting through closeout and turnover.
Partner with internal real estate, operations, and business stakeholders to define project scope, budgets, and construction documentation.
Lead contractor procurement efforts, including bid management, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reporting to ensure successful project execution.
Oversee large capital improvement and renovation initiatives, ensuring compliance with quality, design, safety, and operational standards.
Coordinate with developers, architects, engineers, contractors, and other project partners throughout the construction process.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify adherence to plans and specifications, and address project challenges.
Manage permitting and approvals, collaborating with local and state agencies as required.
Identify and mitigate project risks while resolving construction, schedule, and budget issues proactively.
Lead punch-list management and project closeout activities to ensure a smooth transition to operations.
Present project updates and recommendations to leadership and key stakeholders.
Required Qualifications7+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects, including planning, design coordination, permitting, budgeting, and construction execution.
Experience overseeing large-scale tenant improvement, renovation, or construction projects.
Strong understanding of construction methods, permitting processes, contracts, budgeting, and cost controls.
Ability to travel throughout the United States to support project needs.
Preferred QualificationsProven success managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholder groups.
Strong financial management and budget oversight capabilities.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
EducationBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
