Residential Coordinator

The Pickens County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs (PCBDSN) is dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities to live, learn, and participate fully in our community.

Role Summary:

We seek an experienced Residential Coordinator with the primary responsible for assisting Residential Director with development & operations of all CTH facilities

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and direct overall services delivery system for all consumers residing in CTH II's. Coordinate with In-service Training Coordinator training for all staff employed in CTH II's. Monitor consumers' training and progress to ensure that active treatment is being provided by staff. Complete all required monthly, quarterly and yearly reports as mandated by PCBDSN and SCDDSN. Serve as on call persons for all emergencies as determined by Residential Director. Evaluate placement to ensure consumers are receiving adequate support in a healthy and safe environment. Meet with CTH House Managers to discuss and determine needs of the consumers. Develop and implement plans, assessments, training needs of supports of consumers. Complete monthly reviews of consumer training to ensure active treatment is being met. Review financial reports on all consumers quarterly to ensure funds are being spent appropriately.

Qualifications:

Bachelor degree from accredited college or university, and 1 year of experience Valid SC Driver's License with a good driving record. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to present yourself professionally at all times when representing the DSN Board. Must work well both individually and as a team member. Must be able to work well with others, families and persons served. Must possess strong organizational skills complemented with initiative and motivation.
