Schedule:
Full-time, on-site | Direct hire | Up to 15% travel within the U.S. and Canada Our client is an established industrial manufacturer serving customers with specialized electrical power equipment and technical field service solutions. The organization is known for responsive customer support, strong technical expertise, and a commitment to operational excellence. They are looking for an experienced Field Service Coordinator to serve as the operational hub of the field service team. This direct-hire role coordinates service requests, technician schedules, travel logistics, customer communication, work-order documentation, and billing support.
What you get to do:
Receive, log, prioritize, and manage service requests and work orders from initiation through completion Schedule and dispatch field technicians for commissioning, warranty, preventive maintenance, emergency service, upgrades, retrofits, and customer training Coordinate technician travel, lodging, transportation, calendars, and resource availability Serve as the primary scheduling contact for customers and communicate confirmations, arrival updates, and schedule changes Maintain service records, review field reports, and track warranty and service-contract requirements Verify labor, travel, and material costs; prepare completed work orders for billing and coordinate timely invoicing with Accounting Track service performance metrics and recommend improvements to scheduling, systems, and workflows What you need to succeed: 3+ years of experience in service coordination, scheduling, dispatching, project coordination, or customer service within an industrial, manufacturing, electrical, or technical environment Associate degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered Experience coordinating field personnel and travel logistics preferred Working knowledge of work-order management systems, ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics, and Microsoft Office Familiarity with electrical power equipment, switchgear systems, or field service operations is a plus Ability to travel up to 15% within the U.S. and Canada and meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds What's in it for you: Direct-hire opportunity with an established industrial organization A highly visible role that connects customers, technicians, internal teams, and third-party service partners The opportunity to improve service operations while supporting customer satisfaction and technician productivity Full-time, on-site position with limited travel Apply now!
