Job Description

Horne Brothers Communications, Inc. is currently seeking a Construction/Estimator Coordinator with estimating experience to join our team in Williamston, SC. This position will be responsible for facilitating the efficient operation of the management team by performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist Estimator and other management as needed Gather estimates from subcontractors Maintain building material lists Build, update, and disseminate project trackers as required Finalize estimates and send to customers on the correct bid form Send bid documents to subcontractors to bid; review bids thoroughly Assign job numbers, notify accounting, track purchase orders and invoicing Assist with the permitting process as needed; complete permit applications Coordinate with assigned project manager to verify and order job-related material Assign purchase orders and schedule subcontractor crews as needed Review and file daily job reports for the duration of the project Keep job files neat and orderly; maintain electronic files on shared drive as instructed Coordinate with project managers, customers, and/or subcontractors to track jobs from start to finish, review/approve invoices and assign/balance P.O.s as required Take phone calls and answer email in a timely manner Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries Coordinate and schedule travel, meetings, and appointments for managers or supervisors Prepare agendas and schedules for meetings; schedule conference calls as needed Other projects and duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Three to five years of experience in an administrative role Accurate and precise attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe products; ability to learn new computer applications Excellent organizational skills, including multi-tasking and time management; must be able to prioritize Must have a strong work ethic and have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Basic understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as record keeping and filing Willingness to learn and grow with the company

Full-time Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
