A Construction Project Manager supervises construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints. Controls the time, cost and quality of construction projects, from residential, commercial and industrial buildings to roads, bridges and schools. Plans and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors.
LBE, Inc. is seeking a full-time BIM Manager with at least 10 years of experience in an architectural or engineering firm, or a similar role. The ideal candidate will have experience in design, detailing, and preparation of relevant documentation. Our projects span new construction and renovations across federal, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Responsibilities:
Assist and support production efforts, both drafting and design, as needed - from initial design through construction documents; primarily using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil3D. Conduct drafting-based quality control reviews at major project milestones. Establish and implement standards, processes, procedures, and workflows. Provide CAD/BIM support and technical assistance to team members. Develop and maintain internal and external drafting and BIM-related documents for education and standard enforcement. BIM content creation, including Revit families, templates, procedural documents, and others as directed. Generate BIM Models to LOD 500 Supervise staff of BIM Coordinators Perform other assigned duties as deemed necessary by supervisor/mentor.
Qualifications:
Associate/bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, drafting, or related field. In-depth working knowledge of Revit and BIM processes. Analytic and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in technology applications for PC management and troubleshooting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks effectively and confidently. Effective verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. Advanced Modeling experience using Revit to include generating required submission checklists. Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of Revit, including project setup, Architectural, Structural and MEP development, creating families, and manipulating parameters. Eligibility for a U.S. Security clearance.
