The hours for this position are Mon-Fri 11-6 with some flexibility. Experience with children, classroom or business managements is a plus but not required. The main responsibilities are assisting with planning various engaging activities and assisting with managing the floor while the program is in session. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • ensuring the safety of all children
  • building relationships with the parents
  • managing counselors to ensure they are on task with their duties
  • preparing a daily staff schedule
  • develop and re-create centers
  • plan long term projects and oversee the outcome
  • assist with inventory of materials and plan accordingly for supplies with upcoming projects
