Job Summary Teachey Service Company is looking for an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join our team in Greenville, SC. This position is responsible for managing commercial HVAC projects from start to finish, including scheduling, budgeting, coordination, customer communication, and overall project profitability. We are looking for someone who understands the commercial HVAC industry, can manage multiple projects at once, and takes ownership of getting the job done correctly, efficiently, and profitably. Responsibilities Manage commercial HVAC projects from contract award through completion and closeout Review plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets Coordinate with customers, general contractors, vendors, subcontractors, technicians, and internal staff Track project costs, labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor expenses Monitor project profitability and identify potential cost overruns early Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, purchase orders, and other project documentation Attend project meetings and communicate project status, issues, and timelines Coordinate field activities to ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications Work closely with field technicians and supervisors to resolve jobsite issues Review completed work and assist with project closeout and final billing Maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, and vendors Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to company quality standards Identify opportunities for additional work and communicate those opportunities to customers and management What We're Looking For Minimum 5 years of commercial HVAC experience Previous project management experience in commercial HVAC or construction Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, and installation practices Ability to read and understand mechanical plans, specifications, and project documents Experience managing project budgets and controlling costs Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and customer-service skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Ability to work independently while also being an effective team leader Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word Experience with construction/project management software is a plus The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who understands that successful project management is about more than keeping a schedule.
