Job Summary We are a growing civil construction company based in Morristown, TN, serving East Tennessee and the surrounding areas. We specialize in small to large site development projects, grading, mass grading, hauling, storm drainage systems, gravity and force main sewer, water lines, and other required utilities. A large portion of our current workload is medium-to-large residential developments. We pride our team on completing projects at a fast pace without any lack of quality for our partners. We are seeking an experienced Civil Construction Estimator / Project Manager to join our team. This position will play a key role in the growth and success of our company by managing projects from the estimating phase through completion. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in heavy civil construction, the ability to read and interpret plans, develop accurate estimates, manage budgets, coordinate resources, and communicate effectively with owners, engineers, subcontractors, and field crews. This is an independent role requiring a self-motivated professional who can take ownership of projects, make decisions, solve problems, and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in both the office and field environments and will have a strong understanding of civil construction processes. Our company utilizes modern technology and software including but not limited to Carlson Software, Trimble Business Center, Trimble Survey Technology, Bluebeam, and Propeller Drone Mapping along with other industry standards to improve estimating accuracy, project planning, and field efficiency. Experience with these platforms is preferred, but a strong understanding of civil construction and the ability to learn new technology is essential.
