Possible Project Locations Southeast United States, Texas Position Overview The Superintendent oversees all on-site aspects of construction projects. This includes supervising construction activities to ensure conformance with contract documents, maintaining and administering the construction schedule, coordinating subcontractors and vendors, managing quality control and safety, and supporting the Project Manager with budget oversight, subcontractor costs, and community relations. This role requires deep knowledge of building codes, the ability to coordinate with authorities having jurisdiction, and strong leadership skills to direct both subcontractors and internal teams. The Superintendent must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment. They are expected to mentor and develop Assistant Superintendents and junior team members, fostering the next generation of leaders within Southern Building Group.
