Job Description Engen Contracting Inc. (ECI Group) is seeking a Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead ground up and renovation projects in our Construction Management department. Based in Austin, TX, you will manage the full project lifecycle-from preconstruction planning, scheduling, and budgeting through subcontractor oversight, quality control, safety, and close out. You will coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and field teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. Responsibilities Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through close-out Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost controls Lead coordination with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, change orders, and RFIs Oversee on-site activities to ensure quality, safety, and compliance Monitor project risks and implement mitigation strategies Review drawings and specifications; coordinate value engineering Lead project meetings and provide regular progress reporting Ensure adherence to company standards and client requirements Support business development and repeat client relationships Required Skills Commercial construction project management Budgeting and cost control Project scheduling (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) Contract administration and change management Reading construction drawings and specifications Subcontractor and vendor management Construction safety and compliance (OSHA) Risk management and problem solving Quality control and inspection processes Project management software (Procore or similar)
