Job Details:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to join our Construction Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing large-scale, ground-up, new construction projects, with a particular focus on data centers. You will be the key point of contact for clients, ensuring projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team of professionals and play a pivotal role in the successful completion of projects that will have a lasting impact on the community. This is a full-time, permanent role that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all stages of project life cycle including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure. Manage large-scale, ground-up, new construction projects, with a focus on electrical systems and data centers. Develop comprehensive project plans, define project tasks and resource requirements, and manage project budget and timeline. Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the seamless execution of projects. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. Provide technical guidance and support to the project team. Manage client relationships, maintain open lines of communication, and provide regular project updates. Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks. Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards. Continually monitor and report on project progress to all stakeholders. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management, specifically in the construction industry. Proven track record of managing large-scale, ground-up, new construction projects. Experience with data center construction is a must. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and industry best practices. Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Proficient in project management software tools. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and mitigate project risks. Must be detail-oriented, with the ability to ensure accuracy and quality in all project-related tasks. PMP certification is a plus. Interested in hearing more?
