About the Role As a Safety Manager , you'll lead safety efforts across multiple projects by conducting inspections, managing training programs, and guiding compliance with company and regulatory standards. This role is perfect for someone who is proactive, confident in the field, and committed to cultivating a safe, high-performing work environment. You Will Lead jobsite safety oversight: Conduct regular inspections, identify hazards, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
Strengthen compliance:
Ensure adherence to OSHA standards, local regulations, and Capital Industries safety policies.
Manage documentation standards:
Oversee incident reports, investigation summaries, training records, and inspection logs.
Drive safety training:
Coordinate and deliver safety training for field teams, new hires, and trade partners.
Support incident investigations:
Lead or assist with root-cause investigations and track corrective actions.
Enhance safety systems:
Maintain safety software, tracking platforms, and reporting dashboards with accurate data.
Support cross-functional coordination:
Partner with superintendents, project managers, and trade partners to align safety expectations.
Promote field communication:
Provide clear, respectful coaching in the field and reinforce expectations consistently.
Identify trends and risks:
Monitor patterns across projects and proactively recommend solutions to reduce incidents.
Work as one team:
Jump in to assist with other tasks when needed. What You Bring 4-6 years of construction safety experience. Experience using safety management systems or reporting platforms. Strong understanding of OSHA standards and jobsite safety requirements. Experience conducting inspections, leading training, and supporting incident investigations. Excellent field communication and coaching ability. Strong documentation and organizational skills. Bonus Points OSHA 30, CHST, or related safety certification. Experience supporting MEP or specialty trade environments.
