You will build plans and execute on site setup and pad readiness, set priorities, and keep Contractors, Superintendents, and cross-functional partners locked on the critical path to factory ramp. This role demands a proven construction leader who has stood up mega-projects before, communicates with precision at the executive level, and leads from the field with extreme ownership. What You'll Do Development of project execution plans, site maps, schedules, estimates, & maintain budgets Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports Write Scopes of Work to send out request for procurement (RFP's), bid level, and select bidders for heavy civil and utility scopes Report site status, cost performance, schedule risk, and critical path exposure directly to leadership Establish and maintain site-level controls for progress reporting, risk management, change visibility, and recovery plans Align Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Commissioning, and Operations around construction sequencing Coordinate with the project superintendents to establish project objectives, deliverables, and timelines Collaborate with the design team, architects, and engineers to review plans, specifications, and drawings Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, local authorities, and industry standards Track site execution and inspections to ensure work is performed according to safety guidelines and quality standards What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience 7+ years of experience managing large construction projects in manufacturing or industrial environments specifically with heavy civil and site infrastructure execution Strong knowledge of construction practices, codes, regulations, and safety protocols Proficiency in project management software, design tools, and has excellent reporting experience Ability to problem solve and make difficult decisions rooted in data Confident in decision making ability and coordinating among key stakeholders Compensation and Benefits Benefits Along with competitive pay, as a full-time Tesla employee, you are eligible for the following benefits at day 1 of hire: Medical plans > plan options with $0 payroll deduction Family-building, fertility, adoption and surrogacy benefits Dental (including orthodontic coverage) and vision plans, both have options with a $0 paycheck contribution Company Paid (Health Savings Accounts) HSA Contribution when enrolled in the High-Deductible medical plan with HSA Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) 401(k) with employer match, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and other financial benefits Company paid Basic Life, AD&D Short-term and long-term disability insurance (90 day waiting period) Employee Assistance Program Sick and Vacation time (Flex time for salary positions, Accrued hours for Hourly positions), and Paid Holidays Back-up childcare and parenting support resources Voluntary benefits to include: critical illness, hospital indemnity, accident insurance, theft & legal services, and pet insurance Weight Loss and Tobacco Cessation Programs Tesla Babies program Commuter benefits Employee discounts and perks program Tesla is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
