Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Plumbing Construction Site Foreman to lead and oversee plumbing installation projects on commercial construction sites. This role is vital in ensuring that plumbing systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with all project specifications, codes, and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and a comprehensive understanding of plumbing systems, construction management software, and safety protocols. As a key team leader, you will coordinate daily operations, manage crews, review technical drawings, and ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within budget. Duties Supervise and manage plumbing installation crews on active construction sites, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards Perform installation and work with other team members on job site Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and maintain construction schedules Review construction drawings and technical specifications to interpret plumbing layouts and ensure accurate implementation Monitor progress daily, adjust schedules as needed, and communicate updates to stakeholders to maintain project momentum Conduct regular safety meetings in compliance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards Oversee quality control processes by inspecting work for adherence to blueprints, technical drawings, and industry standards Manage procurement of materials using HeavyBid or other construction management software to stay within budget constraints Supervise crew management activities including training, performance evaluations, and enforcing safety protocols Review contracts and manage documentation Ensure all work complies with local building codes, construction regulations, and safety standards related to plumbing systems Experience Proven experience in heavy commercial or industrial plumbing construction projects with a minimum of several years in a supervisory or foreman role Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings related to plumbing systems, and construction scheduling techniques Hands-on experience with OSHA safety standards and federal construction safety regulations specific to plumbing work environments Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively on large-scale projects while maintaining high safety standards Strong understanding of construction site safety management practices including hazard identification and risk mitigation strategies Skilled in managing budgets, procurement processes, and project documentation to ensure timely project delivery Ability to operate testing equipment Excellent communication skills for coordinating between teams, clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies Join us as a Plumbing Construction Site Foreman to lead impactful projects that shape the future of commercial infrastructure!
