A Construction Site Manager runs day-to-day operations on a construction site and controls the short-term schedule on the site. Also performs important quality control and coordinates subcontractors. Often works in cooperation with construction project manager.
Overview We are looking for a highly experienced and driven Lead Remodeler & Crew Manager to join Justin's Remodel and Handyman Services. We proudly service all of Denton County, providing top-tier residential and commercial remodeling. This is a leadership role for someone who excels at hands-on work and is ready to take ownership of job sites, manage crews, and help run the operational side of the business. You will have a direct hand in building our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), mentoring the team, and helping us design and implement a performance-based bonus structure as the business scales. Responsibilities Site Management & Growth:
Work hands-on alongside the crew on job sites, while stepping up to manage and oversee multiple active sites as the company continues to grow.
Project Leadership:
Lead and execute residential and commercial remodeling projects from demo to final finish across Denton County.
Administration & Expense Tracking:
Track project expenses, manage material receipts, and handle related administrative tasks to keep jobs profitable (we will fully train you on our systems for this).
Business Operations:
Work directly with ownership to develop, document, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to streamline our field and business operations.
Quality Control:
Oversee the craftsmanship of the team, troubleshooting complex issues as they arise and ensuring work meets our high standards.
Mentorship:
Train and mentor less experienced team members on proper techniques, safety practices, and efficiency.
Client Relations:
Act as a professional point of contact on the job site, ensuring a positive experience for our clients.
Requirements Experience:
5+ years of comprehensive experience in remodeling and construction.
Technical Skills:
An overall, comprehensive knowledge of all construction trades, allowing you to oversee and execute a wide variety of project phases.
Leadership:
Proven experience managing crews, scheduling jobs, and overseeing quality control.
Business Mindset:
An interest in the "business side" of remodeling, with the ability to help build systems and procedures for a growing company.
Tools & Logistics:
Must own a comprehensive set of tools and have reliable transportation (truck or van preferred). Valid driver's license required.
Communication:
A reliable phone is required for daily operational communication, job tracking, and administrative tasks.
Problem-Solving:
Elite ability to troubleshoot on the fly and teach those critical thinking skills to your crew.
Organization:
Excellent time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
