Position:
Construction Safety Engineer /
Coordinator Location:
El Paso, TX 79906 (relocation packages available)
Requirements:
4-year degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering etc. with a Safety emphasis (Occupational Safety and Health preferred)
MUST HAVE 1 OF THE BELOW
CSP, ASP, CHST, OHST, IOSH, STS-C or Bachelor's or Master's in a EHS discipline Strong communication skills with the ability to lead a large group of people 2 years of field experience for large commercial construction projects ($50m+) Proficient in computer softwares - Excel, Prolog, Primavera, and AutoDesk Suite
JOB DESCRIPTION
Communicate effectively with internal team members, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders. Maintain a strong understanding of safety and health programs, client-specific requirements, and applicable regulatory standards (e.g., EM 385-1-1). Support the project superintendent in developing, updating, and managing the accident prevention plan, safety management systems, and emergency response protocols. Participate in the six-step safety and quality control process, including reviewing activity hazard analyses and conducting follow-up inspections. Perform routine safety audits and maintain accurate documentation such as project point files. Assist with regulatory inspections (e.g., OSHA) as needed. Support incident response efforts including investigations, injury management, and claims reporting for accidents and near-miss events. Monitor safety performance across all project teams and subcontractors. Attend training sessions to build awareness and competency in safety-related topics. Gain hands-on experience with the construction process and develop a comprehensive understanding of various roles and responsibilities within the project team.
Base Salary:
$73,000 to $78,000
Annualized Comp:

$73,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
