Job Description
Custom Home Superintendent A well-established custom home builder with more than 20 years of success is seeking a Custom Home Superintendent to join its growing team. This company has built a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and delivering exceptional homes. The ideal candidate is a hands-on field leader who understands residential construction, takes pride in delivering quality projects, and enjoys working closely with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams throughout the construction process. Responsibilities Manage day-to-day field operations for custom home construction projects Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and material deliveries Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure timely completion Monitor workmanship and maintain high-quality construction standards Conduct project walkthroughs and provide ongoing communication to stakeholders Manage punch lists and project closeout activities Maintain organized, safe, and efficient jobsites Work closely with office staff, project teams, and trade partners to ensure successful project execution Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects moving forward Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Residential Superintendent Residential construction experience is required; commercial-only experience will not be considered Custom home building experience is highly preferred Proven experience managing projects from groundbreaking through final completion Strong knowledge of scheduling, inspections, subcontractor management, and quality control Ability to effectively manage multiple moving parts while maintaining a positive and professional approach Experience with Buildertrend is a strong plus Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation Salary flexibility for highly qualified candidates Established builder with a strong reputation and consistent project pipeline Supportive team environment with long-term growth opportunities Opportunity to work on unique, high-quality custom home projects
