Looking for an experienced structural welder for a fast-paced structural steel framing company. Must know how to stick weld and pass a 1, 2 & 3G weld test. This is an outdoor position. This position is for a small company so your responsibilities will be anything needed to do the job completed. Job starts at 7am, sharp. Work hours are 7 - 4:15 M-Th and 7 - 12 Friday. You must know how to read a tape measure down to the smallest fraction. Must know how to use a grinder, torch and basic construction tools. Must be able to lift, push, and pull heavy material. Must be able to lift a minimum of 100 pounds by yourself. Must be medically able to perform this job. Requirements Construction site experience with a strong understanding of structural steel fabrication processes. Demonstrated proficiency in stick welding and be consistent with your welds. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Knowledge of construction safety protocols and adherence to OSHA standards or equivalent safety regulations. Familiarity with construction site equipment like cranes and power tools. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent hand tool skills for accurate fabrication work. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.

Pay:

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
