Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Civil Supervisor / Working Foreman to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership position . We are looking for someone who can effectively supervise a crew, coordinate daily field operations, and work alongside the crew when needed . The ideal candidate is experienced in civil construction, equipment operation, concrete work, site preparation, and managing field crews.
Responsibilities & Duties Crew Supervision:
Lead and supervise civil/concrete crews while maintaining productivity, quality, and safety standards.Hands-On Work:
This is a working supervisor position. Must be willing and able to perform field work alongside the crew.Daily Operations:
Plan and coordinate daily work activities, manpower, equipment, materials, and job-site needs.Equipment Operation:
Safely operate a variety of heavy equipment and machinery as needed.Civil & Concrete Work:
Experience with formwork, rebar installation, concrete pouring and finishing, grading, trenching, excavation, and general site civil work.Site Preparation & Layout:
Assist with site grading, excavation, reading plans, setting/shooting grade, and ensuring work is completed to specifications.Plans & Specifications:
Ability to read and understand construction drawings, grading plans, blueprints, and grade stakes.Quality Control:
Monitor work performed by the crew to ensure it meets project plans, specifications, and company standards.Safety Leadership:
Enforce OSHA and company safety requirements, proper PPE use, and safe equipment and job-site practices.Communication:
Communicate effectively with project management, employees, subcontractors, and site representatives.Problem Solving:
Identify field issues and help develop practical solutions to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.Qualifications Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of civil/construction experience preferred. Previous supervisory, foreman, or crew-lead experience is strongly preferred. Must have a valid driver's license . Must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal background check . Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen . Must be able to complete required Basic Orientation and Site-Specific Training . Ability to safely operate heavy equipment is highly preferred. Ability to read grading plans, blueprints, and grade stakes is preferred. Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and capable of leading a crew by example. Must be able to lift approximately 50-80 lbs. as required and perform physical construction work. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather and job-site conditions. Must be willing to travel to different project locations when required.
