We specialize in commercial construction, renovations, and residential construction projects. We are looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to join our growing team. Position Summary The Construction Superintendent will oversee daily field operations and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to plans and specifications. This position will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and clients to keep projects moving and maintain Boujourne Builds' standards for quality and professionalism. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise daily construction activities and site operations. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and site logistics. Review plans, specifications, and project requirements. Monitor project schedules and ensure work stays on track. Conduct daily site inspections and maintain quality-control standards. Identify and resolve field issues and coordinate corrective actions. Maintain daily reports, photographs, schedules, and project documentation. Coordinate inspections and ensure work meets applicable codes and requirements. Enforce company safety policies and maintain a safe jobsite. Participate in project meetings and provide updates to the Project Manager. Monitor workmanship and ensure completed work meets project specifications. Assist with scheduling, sequencing, and coordination of multiple trades. Maintain professional relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams. Support project closeout, punch lists, and final inspections. Qualifications 3-5+ years of construction superintendent experience preferred. Commercial construction experience strongly preferred. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and sequencing. Strong communication and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and priorities. Knowledge of construction safety requirements and applicable building codes. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel to project sites throughout the Houston/Galveston area.
