About the Role We are seeking an experienced, proactive Civil Construction Project Manager to oversee heavy civil, earthwork, underground utilities, and municipal infrastructure projects from pre-construction through completion. In this role, you will be the bridge between owners, engineers, subcontractors, and field superintendents—ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality. Key Responsibilities
    Project Execution & Management:
    Direct and manage heavy civil infrastructure projects (earthwork, grading, storm drainage, water/sewer utilities, and paving).
      Budget & Cost Control:
      Manage project budgets, job costing, pay applications, change orders, and subcontractor billings.
        Scheduling:
        Develop, update, and manage detailed project schedules to ensure critical milestones and deadlines are consistently met.
          Procurement & Buyout:
          Negotiate and issue purchase orders and subcontracts; manage material deliveries and supplier coordination.
            Submittals & RFIs:
            Prepare, review, and track RFIs, submittals, and owner correspondence.
              Field Collaboration:
              Partner closely with Field Superintendents and Foremen to allocate equipment, manage labor, and solve site challenges in real time.
                Client & Stakeholder Relations:
                Act as the primary point of contact for municipalities, private owners, TxDOT/agency reps, and consulting engineers.
                  Safety & Quality Control:
                  Champion on-site safety protocols and ensure strict compliance with project plans, specs, and regulatory standards. Qualifications & Experience
                    Experience:
                    3-5+ years of dedicated project management experience in heavy civil construction , site development, underground utilities, or municipal roadway work.
                      Education:
                      Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent practical field/management experience.
                        Technical Skills:
                        ○ Proficiency with project management and scheduling software. ○ Strong blueprint reading and plan interpretation skills.
                          Leadership:
                          Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, lead field teams, and maintain strong client relationships.
                            Valid Driver's License:
                            Required, with a clean driving record. Compensation & Benefits
