Your primary focus includes the procurement, assessment, and distribution of necessary materials, tools, and resources, alongside the oversight of all relevant project documentation. You are expected to implement the most efficient and economical strategies to ensure the project remains profitable.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Execute design and layout procedures. Construct comprehensive task planners. Formulate and implement strategies to drive project profitability. Participate in recurring site meetings involving the General Contractor, Owner, and Design Team. Analyze and interpret all contractual obligations and project specifications. Help the field crew gain a clear understanding of the project scope and technical requirements. Develop and oversee comprehensive project schedules and manpower allocations. Establish and maintain clear performance expectations for all field personnel. Collaborate with site leadership to ensure the project timeline is strictly followed. Supply the Project Manager with accurate quantity estimates for major materials and procurement needs. Develop and manage a prefabrication strategy to streamline field operations. Design a tool management plan that forecasts future needs and ensures adequate resource levels throughout the project lifecycle. Generate look-ahead schedules for all subcontractors. Direct the activities of onsite field supervisors and the broader workforce. Coordinate with the General Contractor and other trades to foster a highly productive and efficient job site. Monitor and manage site productivity metrics. Support the preparation of Requests for Information (RFIs). Oversee budgets related to equipment rentals, consumables, and safety tooling. Ensure that all as-built documentation remains current and meets contractual standards. Review and manage weekly labor hour budgets. Verify that all project close-out documentation is submitted on time. Organize and maintain efficient material laydown areas. Generate percentage-complete data for monthly Work-in-Progress (WIP) reporting. Maintain high standards for Quality Assurance and Quality Control protocols. Perform additional tasks as required.
SECONDARY DUTIES
Support the daily tasks of SGFs, GFs, and Foremen. Provide mentorship to both direct reports and peers. Recognize and nurture potential leadership talent within the team. Develop and integrate improved operational processes. Foster a constructive and positive atmosphere on the job site.
QUALIFICATIONS
Possession of an OSHA 30 Certification. Minimum of ten years in the electrical trade, including five years serving as a primary project lead. Valid TDLR Electrical Journeyman License. Strong interpersonal and client-facing communication abilities. Superior organizational and time-management capabilities. Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities in a high-pressure environment. Demonstrated competence in the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.
