Construction Project Manager

XLNT Contracting is a premier national firm licensed in 30 states. We are seeking a high-performing Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of diverse construction projects ranging from $2M to $15M in value . Unlike traditional site-based roles, this position requires the ability to manage multiple projects across the country simultaneously. You will be the primary lead ensuring every XLNT project meets our standards for quality, safety, and profitability across our 30-state footprint.

Key Responsibilities National Portfolio Management:

Simultaneously manage 2-4 projects in various phases across different states and time zones.

Financial Stewardship:

Total P&L responsibility for projects in the $2M-$15M range , including cost forecasting, pay applications, and change order negotiations.

Subcontractor Mobilization:

Prequalify and manage specialized subcontractors across different labor markets; ensure compliance with local state licensing and permitting.

Remote & On-Site Leadership:

Lead weekly OAC (Owner, Architect, Contractor) meetings virtually and conduct on-site quality/safety audits as required by the project schedule.

Schedule Excellence:

Develop and maintain aggressive project schedules (Procore/MS Project) to proactively mitigate potential delays.

Qualifications & Skills Experience:

5+ years of experience in Construction Project Management (Commercial, Retail, or Industrial preferred).

Project Scope:

Proven track record of successfully delivering projects in the $2M-$15M range .

Travel:

Willingness to travel to project locations across our 30-state operating area as needed.

Tech Savvy:

Advanced proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software.

Licensing Knowledge:

Familiarity with managing projects under various state-specific regulations and building codes.

Operating Area National:

Frequent project activity across 30 licensed states.

Pay:

From $80,000.00 per year
