We are looking for a seasoned Superintendent with a strong commercial construction background who can step into a project and independently coordinate day-to-day field operations, subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and project completion. Candidates must have proven experience managing commercial construction projects and be able to read plans, coordinate multiple trades, identify and resolve field issues, maintain project schedules, and communicate effectively with project management, subcontractors, owners, and inspectors. Duties /Responsibilites Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Manage multiple subcontractors and construction crews, providing clear direction and maintaining high team morale. Develop, review, and coordinate project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction scheduling software to meet project milestones. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of construction plans. Oversee quality control measures and conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with project standards, safety regulations, and building codes. Review contracts, change orders, and procurement documents to manage scope changes effectively. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, tracking progress, and communication across teams. Enforce OSHA safety standards and federal construction safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all personnel. Monitor project budgets, track costs using HeavyBid or equivalent tools, and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising quality. Coordinate with project managers on scheduling updates, resource allocation, and project delivery timelines. Conduct regular site meetings to review progress, address issues promptly, and facilitate effective communication among stakeholders. Qualifications Provide on-site coordination and oversight of commercial construction projects from start through completion. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and scheduled work. Monitor project schedules and ensure work progresses according to plans, specifications, and project deadlines. Review construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Coordinate the sequencing of subcontractor work and MEP trades. Monitor jobsite conditions, quality of work, progress, and safety. Identify and address scheduling, construction, and coordination issues. Communicate project progress, delays, changes, and field conditions with the Project Manager. Coordinate required inspections and communicate with building departments and inspectors as necessary. Maintain accurate daily logs, photos, and project documentation in Procore. Monitor subcontractor work for compliance with project plans and specifications. Coordinate punch-list completion and project closeout.
