The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of construction experience in the San Antonio market and a demonstrated ability to successfully manage projects from pre-construction through completion. Required Qualifications & Experience Minimum 10 years of construction industry experience, with significant experience in the San Antonio market. Extensive experience in General Construction, with an emphasis on civil/site construction. Experience managing commercial construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Strong knowledge of construction plans, specifications, contracts, and project requirements. Demonstrated knowledge of project scheduling, budget preparation, cost control, and forecasting. Ability to identify potential cost, schedule, and project risks and develop solutions. Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, owners, architects, engineers, and field personnel. Experience preparing and managing RFIs/RRQs, submittals, change orders, and other project documentation. Experience assisting with material procurement, delivery coordination, and project scheduling. Ability to conduct and participate in pre-bid meetings, pre-construction meetings, project meetings, and jobsite visits. Strong understanding of civil/site work, including site preparation, earthwork, utilities, concrete, paving/asphalt, drainage, and related scopes. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities. Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation. Bilingual a plus Software Requirements Proficiency with construction and project management software is required. Experience with the following or similar platforms is preferred: Microsoft Office Suite Microsoft Excel Microsoft Outlook Construction project management/scheduling software Estimating and/or takeoff software Document management and collaboration platforms Position & Travel Approximately 80% office / 20% field Daily travel to local jobsites as needed Attendance at pre-bid and pre-construction meetings Regular jobsite visits and coordination with Superintendents and Foremen Primarily within the San Antonio area and throughout the state of Texas Education A degree or formal education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required in lieu of significant relevant construction experience.
