Job DescriptionDavid Weekley Homes is seeking motivated, customer-focused individuals ready to start a rewarding career in residential construction. As a construction Superintendent, you'll support our Builders in the field by managing subcontractors, overseeing the homebuilding process from start to finish, and delivering an exceptional experience for our customers through your dedication to quality and excellence.
As a Superintendent, you'll go through a training period before taking on the responsibility of building homes. We're looking for team players eager to learn, grow, and make a lasting impact in people's lives.
What You'll DoParticipate in a structured training and mentoring program with tenured Construction Managers to learn how to oversee the homebuilding process from breaking ground through completionLearn to build homes the Weekley Way by understanding each phase of construction, the sales process, and applicable safety and OSHA requirementsCoordinate trades, materials, inspections, and schedules to keep homes on time, on budget, and aligned with David Weekley Homes quality standardsMaintain safe, clean, and organized job sites while ensuring all work meets Building the Weekley Way standardsComplete punch lists, verify framing and material packages, and support final inspections to prepare homes for closingPartner with Sales Consultants to support homebuyer meetings, address buyer questions and options, and deliver an exceptional home-buying experienceBuild and maintain strong working relationships with homeowners, subcontractors, vendors, and internal team membersQualificationsBachelor's degree in Construction Management/Science, Business, Hospitality ManagementStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to build rapport with customers, vendors, and internal teamsAbility to adapt, multitask, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of urgency and follow-throughCommitment to quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and a desire to learn and grow into increasing responsibilityWorking knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn new systems as neededCommitment to quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and continuous learning with a willingness to receive feedbackAdditional Information.
