We are seeking an experienced General Superintendent to lead and oversee roadway construction operations in the Waco market. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for directing multiple construction crews, driving operational excellence, and building a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork. What You'll Do Lead, coach, and develop roadway construction supervisors and crews. Oversee daily field operations across multiple projects and job sites. Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to quality standards. Plan and allocate labor, equipment, and resources to maximize productivity. Support cost control initiatives and help drive profitability across operations. Monitor equipment utilization, maintenance needs, and inventory levels. Conduct routine site inspections to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational requirements. Investigate and help address safety incidents and environmental concerns. Review workforce attendance, timekeeping, and performance management activities. Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with all company policies and regulatory requirements. What We're Looking ForRequired Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Minimum 5+ years of progressive construction leadership experience, preferably in roadway, paving, concrete, or heavy civil construction. Proven experience supervising multiple crews and field operations. Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment. Commitment to safety and operational excellence. Preferred Qualifications CDL Class A or B. Experience managing roadway paving, heavy civil, concrete, or infrastructure projects. Strong understanding of construction scheduling, equipment management, budgeting, and productivity metrics. Working knowledge of computer systems, reporting tools, and operational software.
