The Role We're looking for a motivated Field Assistant to support our superintendents and crews on active pool builds. This position is based in Utah, with occasional travel to projects in neighboring states. You'll gain hands-on experience across a wide range of projects, from high-end residential pools to large commercial builds for resorts, municipalities, HOA communities, and multifamily developments. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to learn the construction industry from the ground up. Our goal is to train you to become a Field Superintendent, working alongside experienced leaders to learn scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and everything it takes to run a job site. What You'll Do Support the Field Superintendent with daily operations across multiple pool projects. Learn each phase of pool construction, from layout and excavation through plumbing, steel, shotcrete, tile, coping, and plaster. Help prepare sites for crews and subcontractors, including setup, cleanup, and material staging. Receive and verify material deliveries against orders. Take progress photos and help keep daily logs updated in our project management software. Assist with basic quality checks and punch list items. Run materials, tools, and equipment between job sites and suppliers as needed. Follow and help maintain jobsite safety standards. Communicate issues or delays to the superintendent promptly. What You Bring 0-2 years of construction or related experience (we'll train the right person). Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. Comfort working outdoors in all weather and doing physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs. Basic familiarity with hand and power tools. Good communication skills and comfort using a smartphone or tablet for photos and updates. Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation. Willingness to travel occasionally to job sites in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado. OSHA 10 certification a plus.
