Glassrock Homes is a luxury home builder in southern Utah, building homes within Black Desert Resort , a development of Reef Capital . The Construction Superintendent is a full-time, ongoing role at Glassrock Homes, managing luxury home projects as the company grows. The role owns field execution such as trade coordination, scheduling, plan compliance, quality, safety, and inspection readiness. This person will report directly to the Glassrock principal and run the construction home sites in a self-directed manager . Upon start, your i nitial assignment will be two homes within Black Desert that both must reach certificate of occupancy by early January 2028 to qualify for the February 2028 Parade of Homes.Responsibilities:
Schedule and sequence all trade partners across both sites, verifying scope of completion before sign-off, resolving field conflicts directly, and escalating any scope or cost changes to the principal before work proceeds Maintain a live construction schedule for each home and site, updated weekly, flagging slippage immediately , driving recovery plans, and protecting the January 2028 CO date as the controlling milestone Work strictly from the approved plan set, verifying layout, dimensions, and finish details against plans and selections, and documenting any deviations while obtaining written direction before proceeding Schedule and pass all City of Santa Clara inspections while maintaining compliance with community design review conditions, including approved disturbance limits, staging areas, and dumpster placement Enforce safety practices, site security, dust and erosion control, and daily cleanliness standards befitting a luxury community Keep daily logs with photos, tracking deliveries, inspections, trade attendance, and open items, and support monthly pay application review by confirming work in place Deliver a weekly written progress report to the principal covering schedule status, open issues, and a two-week look-aheadQualifications :
Minimum 5 years residential superintendent experience; luxury or custom homes strongly preferred Experience running multiple concurrent projects or a project of comparable scale (10,000+ SF) Proficient reading architectural, structural, and MEP plans Established trade relationships in Washington County , UT preferred Proficient with construction scheduling and documentation software Valid driver's licenseCompany Benefits:
