$110,000 - $135,000 DOE + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits About the Opportunity A well-established Heavy Civil contractor is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead field operations on complex infrastructure and water/wastewater construction projects. This role is responsible for driving project execution, maintaining safety and quality standards, developing field leadership, and ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience managing water/wastewater treatment facilities, water tank construction, or large-scale civil infrastructure projects, along with strong scheduling and team leadership skills. Typical Project Types Projects may include: Water and wastewater treatment facilities Water storage tanks and reservoirs Dams and spillways Bridges and box culverts Roadway and transportation infrastructure Drainage systems and channels Structural concrete construction Utility installation and underground piping Structural steel erection Site development and earthwork Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee all field operations from project startup through completion Ensure projects meet schedule, budget, quality, and safety objectives Manage workforce planning, equipment utilization, and daily production activities Coordinate field crews, subcontractors, suppliers, and inspectors Develop and maintain 3- to 5-week look-ahead schedules Identify project risks and implement solutions to maintain productivity and schedule commitments Mentor Assistant Superintendents, Foremen, and field leaders Maintain project documentation, redlines, as-builts, daily reports, and compliance records Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented jobsite culture Enforce all company and regulatory safety requirements Participate in project planning meetings and collaborate closely with Project Managers and leadership teams Required Qualifications 10+ years of Heavy Civil construction experience Previous experience as a Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, General Foreman, or similar leadership role Strong background in water/wastewater treatment facilities, water tanks, or civil infrastructure projects Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors simultaneously Ability to read and interpret civil plans, specifications, and construction drawings Knowledge of excavation, concrete, utilities, structural steel, and mechanical installation work Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills Basic computer proficiency and construction documentation experience Valid driver's license (CDL preferred or ability to obtain) Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification First Aid/CPR/AED Certification Confined Space and Fall Protection Training Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software Strong understanding of scheduling and production planning Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary: $110,000 - $135,000 DOE Annual performance and profit-sharing bonus opportunities Weekly pay Paid Time Off accrued immediately Paid holidays, including floating holiday options Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Employee Assistance Program 401(k) with company match Referral bonus program Ongoing professional development and leadership training Company-sponsored events and employee recognition programs Qualified candidates with strong Heavy Civil, Water/Wastewater, Transportation, or Infrastructure construction experience are encouraged to apply.Pay:
