A Construction Project Manager supervises construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints. Controls the time, cost and quality of construction projects, from residential, commercial and industrial buildings to roads, bridges and schools. Plans and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors.

- is seeking a Construction Project Manager. This position will provide staff support on governmental projects during any phase of design and/or construction whether it's a new building, full modernization, or renovation.
- Construction Project Manager Job Responsibilities Include
- + Oversee validation of products and materials ordered for projects to verify the accordance to the specifications.
- Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- + BA/BS in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, plus six years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education.
Preferred Requirements:
- + Excellent communication skills and interpersonal abilities, including negotiation skills. + Preferred experience collaborating with peers and District of Columbia agencies or Federal government in DC Metro. + Previous work experience managing budgets for construction projects. + Previous experience in a leadership role with strong and proven leadership skills.

- Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $140000 to $160000.
