Job Description
Description We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers in Arlington, Virginia. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who brings warmth, strong organizational skills, and a detail-oriented approach to a busy front office setting. The person in this role will help create a welcoming environment while keeping daily reception operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests, clients, and employees with a courteous and detail-oriented approach while managing the front desk area.
- Handle incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, direct inquiries to the appropriate contacts, and take accurate messages when needed.
- Support day-to-day reception activities by monitoring visitor access, maintaining sign-in procedures, and providing general assistance to guests.
- Coordinate front office communication so requests are addressed promptly and information is shared with the right internal teams.
- Provide concierge-style support by answering basic questions, offering directions, and assisting with common administrative needs.
- Keep the reception space organized and presentable to ensure a positive experience for everyone entering the office. Requirements
- Prior experience in a front desk, receptionist, or customer-facing administrative role.
- Ability to manage a multi-line switchboard or similar high-volume phone system with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal communication skills and a detail oriented, service-oriented demeanor.
- Comfortable handling inbound calls, greeting visitors, and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage routine office procedures.
- Proficiency in basic office tools and general administrative support tasks.
