Job Description Johnson Controls is seeking an MEP Superintendent / Foreman to lead field installation and coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in manufacturing and building projects. You will plan daily work, assign and supervise crews, and ensure safe, high-quality execution of HVAC, electrical, and piping installations to meet schedule, budget, and specifications. Partnering with project managers and subcontractors, you'll resolve site issues, drive continuous improvement, and uphold Johnson Controls' safety and quality standards on every job. Responsibilities Lead daily field installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on manufacturing and building projects Plan, schedule, and assign work to crews and subcontractors to meet project milestones Enforce site safety standards, conduct toolbox talks, and ensure compliance with OSHA and company policies Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings to guide installation Monitor quality of work, perform inspections, and resolve technical issues on site Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and vendors on materials, sequencing, and change orders Track progress, report field status, and support cost and productivity control Train and mentor technicians and tradespeople, fostering a culture of continuous improvement Required Skills MEP systems installation Construction project coordination Blueprint and technical drawing reading Site safety management Quality control and inspection Scheduling and resource planning Subcontractor oversight HVAC systems knowledge Electrical systems knowledge Plumbing and piping systems
