Job Description The Drywall Superintendent will be responsible for: Supervising and managing all drywall installation and finishing activities on construction sites. Coordinating schedules with subcontractors to ensure timely project completion. Inspecting work to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards. Communicating effectively with project managers, clients, and team members to address project needs. Monitoring job site safety and enforcing safety protocols. Resolving any on-site issues or delays efficiently to keep projects on track. Maintaining accurate records of materials, labor, and progress reports. Providing leadership and guidance to the construction team to meet project goals. The Successful Applicant A successful Drywall Superintendent should have: Proven experience as a Superintendent leading commercial construction projects. Strong background in drywall, framing, walls and ceilings systems. Demonstrated leadership experience managing Foremen and field teams. Commercial construction experience required Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate with project management teams. Experience working on institutional, healthcare, higher education, federal, commercial, or similar large-scale projects preferred. Proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work across project sites throughout DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland.
