We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee residential remodeling and addition projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage subcontractors and maintain positive client relationships. Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and manage residential remodeling and addition projects within budget and schedule constraints. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring work is completed according to quality standards and contract specifications. Communicate effectively with clients to understand project goals, provide updates, and address any concerns. Procure materials, equipment, and permits necessary for project execution. Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and implement solutions to meet project objectives. Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project progress reports. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure workmanship meets quality standards and client expectations. Manage project budgets, track expenses, and review financial reports. Does a small company, there are many hats to be worn in this very fast-paced and agile environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Project Manager in residential construction or remodeling. Minimum 8 years in construction project management. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage subcontractors and work crews. Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities. Scheduling experience Proficient in Spanish (preferred). Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and project management software. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field or equal years in experience (preferred). Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus. Software experience - Builder trend,
